The modular construction keeps flexibility in how the sofa can be used and configured, inspired by the way cushions are stacked to meet a momentary need.
The design balances softness, both in comfort and in visual expression, but set within a structured and practical frame. The seat is built up of three cushions, secured with a zipper that prevents movement while allowing each cushion to be fully detached. This makes it possible to remove covers individually for dry-cleaning, without treating the entire sofa. The modularity keeps the flexibility of the nomadic setup, where elements are arranged to create a place for people to gather.
Tribal has a standard seating height and a depth that supports both upright sitting and lying down, with a soft armrest that also functions as a pillow. The slightly lower backrest can be used as an armrest, supporting a more relaxed way of sitting, where you are not required to sit straight or face the same direction.
