TERMS OF VALIDITY AND GOVERNING CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions exclusively govern all business relations between NORR11 and the Buyer as of the date and time the order is placed. The Buyer may not apply any alternative terms or conditions other than those stated herein, even if NORR11 does not expressly object. Specific provisions may be modified by a separate agreement between the
Company and the Buyer, provided such agreement is made prior to the placement of the order.

ORDER CONFIRMATION AND BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES

The Buyer is responsible for reviewing the order confirmation in its entirety. An order is considered definitively accepted once a written order confirmation has been issued. Any discrepancies must be reported to NORR11 immediately upon receipt of the order confirmation.

Special conditions specified by the Buyer in the purchase order are not binding on NORR11 unless explicitly stated and confirmed by NORR11 in the order confirmation.

CANCELLATIONS OR AMENDMENTS

Once an order confirmation has been processed and issued, the order is deemed binding unless objections to changes are communicated within two days. Amendments requested after two working days from the order confirmation may impact delivery times and costs and may also incur additional administrative fees.

PRODUCT DESIGN AND SPECIFICATION VARIATIONS

Reasonable variations in color or size shall not be considered defects. NORR11 reserves the right to make any changes to a product's design that it deems necessary or appropriate.

PAYMENT TERMS

For orders under pre-payment terms, we require payment in advance prior to processing the order. For orders under standard payment terms, payment is due on the invoice date. Late payments may incur additional fees.

All payments must be made via bank transfer, with all associated fees to be borne by the buyer.

SHIPPING TERMS AND RISK TRANSFER

NORR11 offers shipment under Incoterms EXW (Ex Works) Horsens or DAP (Delivered at Place).

Under EXW terms, the Buyer is responsible for arranging transportation and managing all export-related documentation. Risk transfers to the Buyer as soon as the order is ready for collection, at which point the invoice will be issued.

Under DAP terms, a freight quote will be provided, and NORR11 will select the freight forwarder. If the Buyer requires original certificates or documents to be sent via courier, these can be issued and dispatched for an additional charge.

CARGO PACKAGING GUIDELINES AND LIABILITY

The packaging of boxes is managed by our suppliers in accordance with NORR11 guidelines, while pallet wrapping is handled by DSV at the warehouse in Horsens. Re-packing is not recommended, and any transport damage resulting from re-packed cargo will not be considered or accepted as a valid claim.

DELIVERY TIMES AND DELAY POLICY

The delivery date indicated in the order confirmation reflects the expected dispatch date from NORR11's warehouse, excluding transit time. The order confirmation details both the requested and estimated dispatch times, along
with the estimated confirmed dispatch time provided by our partner, DSV, located in Horsens, Denmark.

We are committed to dispatching or preparing orders for collection as promptly as possible. Please note that all shipments from NORR11 are curb side deliveries to the address specified by the Buyer. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to transport the goods inside upon delivery.

NORR11 shall not be liable for any loss or cancellation arising from delays, unless such loss is attributable to gross negligence on the part of NORR11.

FORCE MAJEURE AND UNFORESEEABLE EVENTS

NORR11 shall not be held liable for any delays or failures in performance resulting from force majeure events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to, war, strikes, fires, natural disasters, floods, pandemics, epidemics, power outages, cyberattacks, export or import restrictions, and delays from sub-suppliers.

WARRANTY COVERAGE AND EXCLUSIONS

NORR11 provides a two-year warranty from the invoice date, covering manufacturing and material defects, valid only with the original receipt. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper use, or damage caused by exposure to sunlight or heat. Any modifications made to the product after delivery will void the warranty.

CLAIMS AND REPORTING PROCEDURES

The Buyer retains the right to make legal claims. However, the warranty does not extend to damages resulting from normal wear and tear, improper handling, temperature or weather exposure, or other circumstances beyond NORR11's control. Upon delivery, the Buyer must inspect the goods for accuracy and any defects, preferably while the driver is present. Any visible damage or missing items should be recorded on the transporter's freight note, signed by the transporter as "received with reservation." Claims for visible damages must be submitted to claims@norr11.com within 3 days, including the original order number, product images, and serial number.

For DAP (Delivered at Place) orders, the shipment should be declined if all products are damaged. For EXW (Ex Works) orders, claims must be submitted to both the Buyer’s nominated freight forwarder and NORR11 within 2 working days. If a thorough inspection cannot be completed while the driver is present, the shipment should be accepted with reservations. Non-visible damage or discrepancies must be reported to NORR11 within 7 days of receipt. Failure to notify NORR11 within the specified timeframes may result in the claim being denied.

Returns will only be accepted with prior written agreement, and the Buyer may be responsible for related costs and risks unless otherwise agreed. 

If delivery fails due to the Buyer’s refusal, incorrect address, or inability to accept the goods at the agreed time, all associated costs will be the Buyer’s responsibility.

SHOCK INDICATORS GUIDELINES

A shock indicator monitors impacts during shipment. When receiving an order with a shock indicator, inspect the packaging and verify the status of the indicator. If it shows red or purple, document the issue and either accept the shipment with reservations or refuse it. In such cases, contact NORR11 Support at support@norr11.com, providing photos of the packaging, any damage, the shock indicator, and reference numbers on the boxes.

Applicable products include Gear Tables, Mammoth Chairs and Sofas, Soho Tables, and Cubism Tables.

DISCLAIMER REGARDING PRICES, MEASUREMENTS, WEIGHTS, AND TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

All prices, measurements, weights, and other information provided on this website or in our materials are subject to errors and changes. We strive to provide accurate and correct information, but typographical errors, pricing adjustments, specification changes, or other irregularities may occur, leading to discrepancies from the information provided.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

NORR11 will assume no liability for any loss as a result of delays, defects or any other breach of contract, unless such loss was caused by gross negligence on the part of NORR11. NORR11 will assume no liability for any indirect loss, including loss of profits, operating loss, goodwill, loss of customers, running costs or any other consequential economic loss. 

CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION 

Disputes between NORR11 and customers shall be subject to Danish law, except for the international civil law rules of Danish law, and shall be settled by NORR11’s home court.
