Ceramics by la Clay

For Christiane Uggerhøj la Cour, working with clay is an exploration of texture, contrast, and tactility. Her sculptural ceramic pieces are shaped from stoneware clay and hand-glazed, giving each surface its own distinctive character.

Her process is intuitive and experimental, guided by curiosity. Through form and material, she creates works that invite a slower, more sensory encounter, evoking feelings of presence, calm and wonder.
