At Restaurant Piccolo, situated on the waterfront in Aarhus Ø, a warm and welcoming atmosphere contrasts with the cool tones and rough environment of the harbor outside.
The interior consists of natural materials in warm hues, inspired by the ambiance of Italian restaurants, and includes NY11 and Bufala chairs upholstered in ULTRA® leather from Sørensen Leather.

Bufala Chair
With rich wood grain, the Bufala Chair has a distinctive appearance to match its high quality, solid wood construction. The back is made with a special production technique pressing multiple layers of oak veneer in a compression mold, forming the characteristic buffalo horn shape that provides back and arm support.
NY11 Chair
NY11 Chair
Inspired by traditional Danish elementary school chairs, the NY11 Chair has a frame hand-crafted from solid oak and a seat of oak veneer. The chair came to life when designers Rune Krøjgaard and Knut Bendik Humlevik went on a mission to create a modern take on the classic Scandinavian dining chair. Just like a school chair it had to be both comfortable and very durable. The result is a simple and honest chair with a timeless expression.
